20140809 Volleyball Campout- Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground
Hi guys:
The winter from hell is finally over! (Is there winter in hell?)
Campout fever is upon us once more.
Stonehouse Park has been intermittently closed down, so that is not a concrete option. Maple Leaf still has the new owner from last year and he seems to have his own agenda, so we kept that as Plan B. Tom Wasko and I recently visited a campsite in Yorkville (at the suggestion of John Stoddard - Thanks, John). We met the owners - two very nice ladies, Sandy and Annie - and toured the facility. They have plenty of room for us and they have showers on site. We also patronized a few of the local establishments in the area; no easy feat since there was quite a bit of construction at the main intersection in town. There are a few spots that stood out to us, which I will get into more in future emails. Suffice to say, we are covered on Friday afternoon, Friday night and breakfast Saturday and Sunday.
You can check out the campsite on the following site:

THE DATES ARE AUGUST 8 THRU AUGUST 10, 2014
Please reply (yes or no) when you can.
The official flyer will be attached in a (near) future email.
